Maruti Suzuki launched all new Alto 800.New Alto 800 is the Maruti entry level product.This replaces the aging Maruti Alto.Maruti launched Alto 800 with 3 variant.Standard,LX and LXI the top end variant.Alto 800 is available in two interior color options grey and brown.On standard only Grey option is available.

Maruti has given a new 3 spoke steering wheel.Seats fabric design is new and there is silver accents on the instrument pannel and on the doors.Maruti has given can holder and 1 liter bottle holder.OVRMs can be adjusted from inside.Alto 800 also get front power windows and Remote tail gate opener.Another important feature in the new Alto 800 is the option of driver side Airbag.

Maruti increased the height of 15mm and Rear legroom also increased by 15mm.Maruti Alto 800 is powered by 796 cc petrol engine which makes 48 ps @ 6000 RPM and torque of 69 NM @ 3500 RPM.Maruti has also given CNG option for Alto 800 from the launch.

Maruti Alto 800 petrol variant gives 22.74 KMPL under ARAI test conditions and the CNG variant gives 30.46 Km/Kg.The engine is mated to a 5speed manual transmission.Maruti suzuki used pin technology and cable type transmission for better shifting.This also reduces the shifting force required.Alto 800 is available in 6 colors Superior white,Blazing Red,silky silver,Torque blue,Frost blue and Granite Grey.
