TVS Phoenix 125 launched
TVS launched the new commuter bike Phoenix 125 in India.TVS priced phoenix at RS 53,000 (Ex-showroom Chennai).TVS phoenix is based on the star city.But TVS has added more features and improved the look.TVS developed a new 125 CC engine for phoenix.125 cc 4 stroke engine makes 11 PS of power and 10 NM of torque.TVS tuned the bike more for the city riding conditions.This engine is matted to a 4 speed gear transmission.To improve the looks TVS has given black finish for the engine,alloy wheels and exhaust.TVS has added body graphics with 125 name written on the tank.TVS has added alloy wheels,petal front disc brake,electric start and digital speedometer.Meter console has digital speedometer,odometer and fuel guage.
For better ride quality TVS has given dual spring shock absorbers.Phoenix gives 67 kmpl of mileage.TVS is facing stiff competition from Honda and Yamaha.TVS has already lost the 3rd place in the two wheel market to Honda.Yamaha is catching TVS fast.One of the big problem for TVS was the lack of new products.TVS is very slow to bring out new models.TVS expect phoenix to help the sales in the festival season.We can expect TVS to bring out new products or updated products in the coming months,
