German car manufacturer, BMW car types acknowledges the damage to the mechanism or gas station fuel pump on his car. BMW will soon conduct a recall (recall) about 150,000 units of cars in the U.S..

As quoted by Reuters on Wednesday (10/27/2010), BMW car types already reported this recall process to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or Environmental Protection Agency, and Highway Safety Agency or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Intended to complement Star’s successful big-inch Raider motorcycle, the 2011 Star Stryker features the same aggressive custom attitude with a more manageable motor. The engine on the Stryker is a 1304cc liquid=cooled 60° V-twin, with a bore of 100mm and a stroke of 83mm. The four-valve heads have a compression ratio of 9.5:1 and use overhead cams.

The liners are ceramic composite housing forged pistons, and dual 40mm throttle bodies with 12-hold nozzles deliver the air-fuel mixture. The 2011 Star Stryker’s double cradle frame is steel with the dual-counterbalanced motor rigidly mounted as a stressed member. The seat height is 26.4″ for a sit-in motorcycle riding position. The 6° steering yoke giving the forks a distinctive 40° rake, and the weight bias is 45% front and 55% rear. The Stryker has 41mm forks and a well-hidden linkage-assisted single rear shock.

Cast aluminum five-spoke wheels are used on the Stryker, with a 210 rear on an 18″ rim, and a 21″ front with a 120 mounted. The wheels are also the same dimensions as the custom-look Raider motorcycle. A single 320mm front disc is used up front, in addition to a 310mm rear brake. A belt-drive is used to transmit power from the five-speed transmission. Over 60 motorcycle accessories will be available from Star for the Stryker, including windshields, leather saddlebags, additional lighting, custom wheels, backrests, chrome and guards. Steel fenders are stock to facilitate customizers. MSRP for the 2011 Star Stryker motorcycle begins at $10,990, and the three available colors are Raven, Impact Blue and Reddish Copper.

PPI Automotive Design presents the special limited production Supercar based on Audi R8, the PPI RAZOR GTR. The essential part of the motor alteration is the incorporation of a specially engineered supercharger. In addition, a ram-charged sport air filter system and a high performance exhaust system made of stainless steel have been designed and added specifically to work in conjunction with the supercharger system. These components are precisely adjusted to each other with the help of a new ignition map for motor electronics.

The result, after this extensive modification, is a car with up to 580hp / 427 kW at 7,400 rpm, a maximum torque of 600 Nm at 6,200 rpm at its disposal, and a weight decrease of 250 kg over its serial counterpart (serial curb weight 1,580 kg). Providing the PPI RAZOR GTR with the ability to achieve speeds from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.7 seconds with a maximum top speed of 332 km/h.
The RAZOR GTR utilizes specially designed lightweight MAG9 Carbon Fiber forged aluminum PPI wheels. At the front, 10Jx19 MAG9 wheels weighing 8.8kgs with 255/35 ZR 19 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres are fitted and an impressive 12.0J x 20 MAG9 wheels weighing 10.0 kgs with 325/25 ZR 20 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres are used at the rear.
PPI also developed a special high-performance braking system available only for the RAZOR GTR that can be identified by its metallic orange-coloured brake callipers. The optimal deceleration and perfect pedal pressure control is now achieved by enlarged 6-piston callipers in connection with extra-large discs measuring 380 x 36 millimetres at the front and 356 x 32 mm discs at the rear axle providing greater pad surface contact area and heat dissipation.
